Children’s Hospital Colorado Center of Excellence for rare disorders expanding focus to include Pitt-Hopkins
Children’s Hospital Colorado is building a Center of Excellence for rare disorders and expanding its focus to include Pitt-Hopkins in the rare disease clinic. We offer a multidisciplinary program in which individuals with Pitt-Hopkins including adults are seen in one clinic visit by 8 specialists familiar with Pitt-Hopkins with the focus on management and as a resource for care. The specialists including general genetics with a focus on management, epileptologist, developmental pediatrician, physicial medicine and rehabilitation, physical, occupational and speech therapies, and nutrition. We are equipped to manage all things PHS including development, sleep, GI concerns, mobility, communication, breathing, behavior and more.
