July 10-11, 2026 | Science. Hope. Community.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Pitt Hopkins Science Symposium will be held virtually in 2026—bringing our entire global community together from the comfort of home! This virtual format will allow more families than ever before to attend—especially those for whom travel is difficult or costly.
Join us online in July 2026 for a powerful program featuring:
• Science Lay Talks from Leading Researchers
Hear directly from the scientists driving progress in Pitt Hopkins research, presented in a clear, accessible, and family-friendly format. Topics will include breakthroughs in TCF4 biology, preclinical models, gene therapy strategies, and the latest updates from our labs.
• Clinical Trial Updates
Get the newest updates from academic and industry collaborators working to advance targeted treatments for Pitt Hopkins syndrome. Sessions will cover progress toward first-in-human approaches, natural history insights and what families can expect as programs move forward.
And don’t worry—we’ll be back in person in 2027, and we can’t wait to see many of you face-to-face again then.
Whether you’ll be logging in from a laptop or planning to join us in person the following year, we can’t wait to connect, grow, and move this mission forward—together.
• Friday, July 10 – Researchers
Friday of the Science Symposium is dedicated exclusively to researchers and professionals. The sessions on this day will focus on highly technical, scientific content, including detailed research findings, methodologies, and in-depth discussions intended for a professional audience. This format allows for meaningful scientific exchange and collaboration among experts in the field.
• Saturday, July 11 – Parents/Families
Saturday of the Science Symposium is designed with families in mind. Presentations will be more accessible, with complex scientific concepts explained in a clear, approachable way. This day offers families the opportunity to learn and ask questions in a relaxed, welcoming environment—no technical background required.
